Dashboard Overview
The Dashboard provides an at-a-glance view of your photo portfolio with four key statistics cards:
- đ¸ Total Photos: Complete count of all analyzed photos (e.g., "1,245")
- â Average Rating: Mean quality score across all photos (e.g., "8.7")
- đ This Week: Photos rated in the last 7 days (e.g., "152 photos")
- đ Badges Earned: Total achievement badges unlocked (e.g., "5")

Quick Access: The Dashboard is your starting point for understanding portfolio performance. Check it regularly to monitor trends and track improvement.
Insights Section
The Insights section uses AI to analyze your photo portfolio and provide intelligent recommendations. There are four types of insights:
1. Pose Profile Insights
Analyzes which pose profiles you use most often and which produce the best quality:
- Most-Used Profile: "Traditional Portrait (78%)" - Shows your default workflow
- Best Quality Profile: "Professional Headshot (avg 9.1)" - Identifies which profile yields highest ratings
- Recommendation: "Consider using Professional Headshot for higher ratings" - Actionable suggestion
2. Issue Detection Insights
Priority-based alerts help you identify and address the most common quality problems:
- High Priority (âĨ15%): "â ī¸ Glare in 18% of photos - review lighting setup"
- Medium Priority (5-14%): "âšī¸ Pose issues in 9% - check subject angles"
- Low Priority (<5%): "â Only 2% eye issues - good consistency"
Focus on High Priority: Address high-priority issues first for the biggest impact on overall quality. These patterns affect the most photos and offer the greatest opportunity for improvement.
3. Trend Analysis
Compares the last 7 days with the previous 7 days to show progress:
- Quality Trend: "đ Improving +6.2% (8.0 â 8.5)" - Shows direction of change
- Issue Trends: "Glare decreasing (-15%)" - Tracks specific problem types
- Consistency: "Brightness variance reducing" - Measures technical consistency
4. Actionable Recommendations
Specific technical suggestions based on your aggregate data:

Continuous Improvement: Recommendations update as you rate more photos. Implement suggestions and watch your average quality score improve over time.
Statistics View
The Statistics view provides detailed analytical breakdowns of your portfolio:
Quality Distribution
- Pie Chart: Visual breakdown of Excellent / Good / Fair / Poor ratings
- Percentages: Exact distribution (e.g., "45% Excellent, 35% Good, 15% Fair, 5% Poor")
- Color-Coded: Green (Excellent), Blue (Good), Yellow (Fair), Red (Poor)
- Photo Counts: Number of photos in each category
Issue Breakdown
- Bar Chart: Shows frequency of each issue type (Glare, Pose, Eyes, Smile, Blur, Exposure)
- Percentage Affected: How many photos have each issue
- Trend Arrows: Indicators showing if issues are increasing or decreasing over time
Time Series (Coming Soon)
Future releases will include time-series analysis:
- Line Graph: Quality ratings plotted over time
- Daily Averages: See quality by day
- Rolling 7-Day Average: Smoothed trend line
- Pattern Identification: Spot weekly cycles and long-term trends
Technical Metrics
Detailed technical measurements provide deeper insights:
- Averages: Mean brightness, contrast, and blur scores
- Standard Deviations: Measure of consistency
- Min/Max Ranges: Lowest and highest values in your portfolio
- Outlier Detection: Identifies photos that significantly deviate from your norms

Exporting Analytics
Export your analytics data for external reporting, archiving, or further analysis:

- Navigate to the Statistics view
- Click the "Export" button
- Choose your preferred format:
- CSV: Excel-compatible spreadsheet with raw data
- JSON: Developer-friendly structured data
- Excel: Formatted XLSX file with charts and formatting
- PDF: Professional report format (coming soon)
- Optionally select a date range to filter data
- Choose destination folder
- Export completes instantly

What's Included in Exports
Comprehensive data export includes:
- Photo Metadata: Filenames, paths, dimensions, file sizes
- Quality Ratings: Overall scores and individual metric scores
- Technical Measurements: Brightness, contrast, blur, pose scores
- Issue Flags: Detected problems with descriptions
- Timestamps: When each photo was analyzed
- Session Data: Photographer sessions and badge information (if applicable)
- Pose Profiles: Which profile was used for each analysis
Data Portability: Exports are fully portable and can be imported into other analytics tools, shared with colleagues, or archived for long-term record-keeping.
